01 / Preparation

A clear brief makes room for better work.

Concept planning, direction, editing and delivery in agreed formats. We discuss references, timing, location, styling and delivery before the session.

You do not need to know how to pose or arrive with a finished concept. Direction stays practical and collaborative.

What we agree together

  • Concept, references and practical setup
  • Direction, pace and comfort
  • Privacy and image use
  • Editing and agreed delivery

Phase 2A service guide

A service shaped around the actual brief.

Creator photography is more than a set of isolated profile images. For a creator, images can build a recognisable world around a person, subject, style or way of working. This service is for makers who want to think about what their images should communicate. It might be a quiet series for a personal channel, a new visual direction, or an ongoing project where continuity matters more than a single trend-led frame.

The brief begins with what the images are for and who will see them. We discuss the feeling, references, clothing, setting, roles and practical requirements. You do not need a finished shot list. A few examples and an explanation of what is not working in your current images may be enough to find a direction. The collaboration stays open to refinement instead of treating the first idea as a fixed instruction.

During the session I combine direction with room for the creator’s own voice. A creator knows their subject and audience; photography adds visual structure. We can vary posture, distance, detail and pace while checking what feels believable. If several people are involved, roles and boundaries are discussed in advance. That makes it clear who is making decisions and who needs to be present.

Creator photography may result in a personal archive or images for a specific agreed use. It does not automatically mean platform management, publication or account access. Usage, privacy, selection and delivery are discussed before anything is confirmed. To explore a one-off session or possible collaboration, use the inquiry. The process page explains the broader approach to consent and privacy.

Who this is for

For creators and creator teams looking for a thoughtful photography partner for an idea, profile or continuing visual series.

Session scope

Concept, visual language, direction, session, editing and agreed delivery can be shaped together. One-off and recurring work both begin with a brief.

Process and location

We map the purpose, audience, references, practical needs and desired collaboration before making a workable path to the shoot.

Purmerend is the base. Another Dutch location can be considered when it fits the project and its travel arrangements.

Questions

Start with the details that matter to you.

Consent and privacy are explained on the existing process page, rather than repeated here.

Is creator photography only for online content?

No. Explain whether the images are personal, professional, editorial or for a particular channel. Purpose shapes the brief.

Can this become an ongoing collaboration?

It can be discussed. Start with the kind of rhythm or continuity you want without assuming a fixed arrangement is already available.

Do you upload or manage platform content?

No. This service covers photography and agreed files. Platform management, uploads and account access are not included automatically.
