01 / Preparation

A clear brief makes room for better work.

Adults 18+ only: an intimate session shaped around comfort and consent. We discuss references, timing, location, styling and delivery before the session.

This page is for adults 18 and older. Consent, privacy and agreed boundaries stay explicit throughout the session. Any future image use is discussed separately.

What we agree together

  • Concept, references and practical setup
  • Direction, pace and comfort
  • Privacy and image use
  • Editing and agreed delivery

Phase 2A service guide

A service shaped around the actual brief.

Boudoir photography does not require you to know exactly how you want to look. It can be a calm way to explore your body, presence or expression without filling in clothing or boundaries in advance. This service is for adults aged 18 and over who want to consider intimate portraiture with clear communication. The first step is a conversation about what makes you curious and what you need to feel comfortable and taken seriously.

Preparation can cover atmosphere, clothing or layers, references, setting and who will be present. The amount of direction is part of the conversation too: some people want concrete guidance, while others prefer room to respond. Nothing is compulsory. You may exclude something in advance and change your mind during the session. That is part of active consent, not a problem you need to justify.

The photography proceeds step by step. I can guide posture, hands, expression and movement while checking how the process feels. A technically strong image is not successful if the person in it feels overruled. Pausing, skipping a pose, changing clothing or stopping are always available choices. The atmosphere is not controlled by the pursuit of one perfect image.

Privacy for boudoir work needs a separate agreement. Viewing a portfolio or discussing a session is not consent to publish new work. Selection, access and delivery are considered for your project, together with any location details. Unconfirmed prices, quantities, formats and timelines are not filled in here. Read the process page and use the inquiry if you want to discuss the possibilities carefully.

Who this is for

For adults aged 18 and over who want to explore intimate portraiture with care for comfort, boundaries and privacy.

Session scope

We discuss atmosphere, clothing, exposure, guidance, attendance and image use before anything is agreed. The session stays personal and unhurried.

Process and location

The inquiry starts as a conversation. Preparation, active consent, a guided session with check-ins and separate image-use agreements follow from there.

Purmerend is the base. Other Dutch locations can be discussed when the setting and travel arrangements suit the project.

Questions

Start with the details that matter to you.

Consent and privacy are explained on the existing process page, rather than repeated here.

Is boudoir only for experienced models?

No. Experience is not required. The session begins with clear communication and guidance adapted to your comfort and preferences.

Do I need to want explicit images?

No. You decide the boundaries of the project. Discuss what you do and do not want to explore; nothing is assumed.

Are boudoir images shared publicly?

Not automatically. Access and any portfolio or social use are separate choices that must be discussed explicitly.
